Session 1: SQL Anywhere 12 Data Management Highlights
After a brief refresher of the data management highlights in SQL Anywhere 11, this session will dive into enhancements provided in Version 12. Through discussion and demos, you will learn about SQL Anywhere 12's new out-of-box performance features, server scale-out functionality, spatial support, advanced monitoring tools, and developer productivity enhancements. The talk will also include some SQL Anywhere database best practices and tips and techniques for migrating from previous releases.

Session 2: SQL Anywhere 12 Data Synchronization Highlights
In part two of the SQL Anywhere 12 Technical Preview, a SQL Anywhere 11 refresher will be followed by a discussion of the Version 12 improvements made in the areas of data synchronization including central administration of remote databases, performance improvements, diagnostic tools, new sync client support (iPhone), and UltraLite enhancements. Best practices and tips for migrating mobile database and synchronization environments to the latest release is also discussed.
